On the sidelines of the 20th Tehran International Auto Parts Exhibition, an exclusive interview was conducted with Engineer Jabar Zare, CEO and founder of Hamgam Khodro Asia Industrial Group. This conversation provided an excellent opportunity to learn more about the achievements, strategies, and future plans of this major industrial organization.

Hamgam Khodro Asia began its operations in 1995, coinciding with the rise of Iran’s automotive industry, focusing on the production of pressed automotive parts. In 2003, with the integration of several specialized units, the group continued its activities under a unified brand—Hamgam Khodro Asia. Today, it is considered one of the largest private-sector companies in Iran’s automotive parts manufacturing industry.

The steel sheets used by the company are sourced from Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan, and all production processes follow international standards from Japan and Peugeot France. This adherence to global quality benchmarks has positioned Hamgam Khodro Asia as a supplier of premium-grade products to both the domestic and aftermarket automotive sectors.

However, the group’s activities extend far beyond the automotive industry. According to Engineer Zare, Hamgam Khodro Asia Industrial Group is also active in the following fields:

• Heating and HVAC systems: Production of heating packages and wall-mounted boilers
• Surge arrester industry: Manufacturing surge arresters for electrical transmission lines
• After-sales services in the HVAC sector
• Development of solar power plants: Participation in constructing solar farms with an initial capacity of 18 MW, with a long-term goal of reaching 50 MW connected to the national grid

Engineer Jabar Zare emphasized:

Target Markets

• Automotive products: Primarily the domestic market, with a portion exported
• HVAC products: Exported to Central Asian countries and Russia
• Electricity exports: Conducted via the Energy Exchange to neighboring countries

Human Resources and Organizational Structure

Hamgam Khodro Asia Industrial Group employs more than 1,000 direct staff and approximately 500 indirect personnel, operating from Alavijeh Industrial Town and Mahmoudabad Industrial Zone in Isfahan.

Company ownership is divided as follows: 60% belonging to the Hamgam Group and 40% held by the company’s management (Engineer Jabar Zare). From 2011 to 2025, all company revenues have been reinvested into development and expansion.
